Dawn runs entirely on your device. Here is what happens to your information, in plain language. The short version: we don't collect it.

What Dawn stores

The feeds, sleeps, diapers, medicine, growth entries, notes, and child profiles you log are stored on your iPhone. If you use iCloud, this data also syncs through your own private iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit) so it's available on your other devices and backed up.

What we collect

Nothing. Dawn has no account, no sign-up, and no server of our own. The developer cannot see, access, or receive your data. We do not collect, sell, share, or transmit your information to anyone.

iCloud

When iCloud is on, your Dawn data lives in your personal iCloud account under Apple's privacy terms. It stays within your own account — never shared with the developer or any third party.

No tracking, no ads, no analytics

Dawn does not track you across apps or websites, shows no ads, and includes no analytics or third-party SDKs.

Insights and predictions

Any patterns, averages, and predictions Dawn shows are calculated on your device from your own log. Nothing is sent anywhere to produce them.

Children's information

Dawn is intended for a parent or caregiver. Because all data stays on your device and your private iCloud, no information about you or your child is ever transmitted to us.

Notifications

If you turn on Feed Reminders or Nap Window Alerts, Dawn schedules local notifications on your device. iOS handles these — they do not go through any server of ours.

This website

This site itself sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. If you join the early-access list, the email you provide is used only to tell you when Dawn launches, and nothing else.
