Why I built Dawn
I became a parent, and time fell apart. Was that feed two hours ago, or four? Did the baby nap? At 3am I couldn't have told you my own name.
I'm one developer. Every app I tried wanted an account, an email, a subscription. Then it wanted to sell what I typed in about my kid. All I wanted was to remember the last feed without a fight.
So I built the app I needed at 3am. Dawn logs in a tap. It learns your baby's own rhythm and tells you what's next. And it runs entirely on your phone. No account, nothing uploaded, ever.
The smart stuff other apps lock behind a paywall? Free. A tired parent shouldn't have to pay to understand their own baby.
I'm building this in the cracks between feeds, in the open. If it makes one exhausted parent's night a little clearer, that's the whole point.
